These are a lovely, fruity little sweet pick me up with traditional apple pie flavour. You can find the recipe below and on the articles section of the website! Don't forget to save this one for later! Also when it comes to using top quality whey protein I always go with The Protein Works whey protein, not only are there loads of great flavours, but it only contains the good stuff! Also if you use code 'TPWRTG' when purchasing you get 10% off your order, so there's never been a better time to stock up. There's even vegan and gluten free options too!

Key abbreviations: VG = Vegan, V= Vegetarian, GF = Gluten Free, DF = Dairy Free

(All of the counts displayed are a rough guide – sourced from MyFitnessPal)

Makes approximately 12 slices

Equipment needed: electronic scales, two mixing bowls, wooden spoon, small baking tray and an oven!

1) Preheat oven to 180° fan
2) Combine dry ingredients
3) Combine wet ingredients in separate bowl.
4) Mix dry and wet ingredients into batter then add a sprinkling of diced almonds.
5) Stick in the oven for 25 - 30 mins, then leave in tray to cool. You want them to come out of the oven slightly underdone as they will keep cooking in the tray.
6) Sprinkle cinnamon over the top when you get the tray out of the oven.
7) Slice once cool and chow down

This recipe can be done gluten free with TPW vegan cinnamon cereal milk protein powder and GF flour, can be done vegan with plant based yoghurt. The dairy free option just needs dairy free yoghurt.
